This creamy lemon-dill sauce is a breeze to whip up and goes perfectly with your favorite salmon or chicken dish. I served it with a beautiful Smoked Salmon Breakfast Bowl and it was simply divine!
Skill Level: Easy
Time to Make: 10 minutes
2 tablespoons crème fraîche (or sour cream)
Heavy cream, to taste
2-3 tablespoons fresh dill
2 tablespoons capers
Salt and white pepper to taste
Prepare Ingredients: Zest and juice the lemon. Drain and rinse the capers.
Prepare the Dressing: In a bowl, combine the lemon juice and zest, crème fraîche and dill. Stir to combine. Add a few splashes of heavy cream and stir. Continue adding heavy cream until desired consistency has been reached. (I used about 3 tablespoons.) Stir in the capers and season to taste with salt and white pepper. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Enjoy!
